Artist's Comments

I was commissioned by a gal to do plushies of herself and her boyfriend in animal suits like my Creature Cosplay plushies. The boy is a golden retriever, and the girl a koala.
Such a cute commission...

Made of Fleeeece. And stuuuuffing.

These are adorable.

by the way, how on earth do you do the hair and not make it...weird. (I've been having an issue with this. I'm using a pattern I found in a book, and I wanted to do the whole ';person in animal costume' thing for a while now. but alas, I am an idiot...)

Anyway, these are adorable!!!

Thanks!

Hmm, lets see if I can explain the hair process... What I do is cut the face piece, the hair piece and the front outer head piece. I cut a circle (like a large donut hole) out of the front head piece, pin the hair to the face piece, and the sew the face piece around the edges of the hole in the head piece. And that's how I create the front of the head for my human/animal plushies. I just make sure the hair is pinned and placed properly as I'm sewing so it doesn't end up crooked.
Sorry, it's kinda hard to explain without examples... ^^; What problem with the hair are you having?
